Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has partnered with Sensibill to add receipt management services to its mobile banking app.

Sensibill helps small business owners in maintaining cash receipts, transaction reports and manages cash flow, just by using mobile banking app.

The RBS mobile banking app will be available for customers from 1 January 2018 in iOS and Android versions. Users should scan the receipts using camera.

These receipts will be mapped to respective transactions to keep track on expenditure and generate reports for invoicing or accounting requirements.

NatWest/Royal Bank of Scotland managing director of business banking Marcelino Castrillo said: “No bank can expect to thrive without listening to the evolving needs of customers, and by partnering with Sensibill, we’re offering proactive help and best-in-class innovation for free – allowing small businesses to spend less time on admin, and more time on what they do best.”

Sensibill CEO and co-founder Corey Gross said: “It’s simple – if banks don’t service their customers’ needs, someone else will. Every time a customer uses a competing solution to solve their financial pain, customer loyalty erodes.
