Monese is launching an advertising campaign dubbed ‘Europe is Open’.

The campaign represents a light-hearted play on Sadiq Khan’s ‘London is Open’ campaign, launched by the Mayor in 2016. London is Open aimed to show the world that keeping London open and welcome is a job for everyone. In particular, as London is home to a huge variety of nationalities and different cultures.

The Monese campaign stresses the need to ensure ‘Europe is Open’ to everyone, whatever happens with the never-ending Brexit saga.

The campaign encourages consumers to stay connected, whether they are travelling, working, studying or retiring across the UK and Europe. And this begins with keeping one’s finances connected.

Monese’s ad campaign runs for one month across multiple channels. In addition to digital ad creative, the ads run on the London tube network in major hubs across London. The Monese ads will also feature in London’s black cabs.

In October, Monese revealed that 46% of non-UK nationals think work opportunities is the best thing about the UK. Asked about their reasons for moving to the UK, 29% say they wanted a better life for themselves. In addition, 24% say they came to the UK to study and then decided to stay.
