Nigeria’s Fidelity Bank has introduced an
internet platform that offers comprehensive technology-based
solutions to schools – including the online payment of tuition and
other fees.

Eduportal aims to make everyday tasks for
schools easier and more efficient by allowing the management of
staff data, online applications, admissions and registrations,
transcript processing, document sharing, e-learning and checking of
results, besides online payments.

The solution integrates multi-card payment
systems such as VISA, Interswitch, e-Tranzact and MasterCard.

Eduportal has been tested and is already in
use in some schools across Nigera, a statement from Fidelity Bank
said.

Head of consumer banking for Fidelity Bank,
Kenneth Opara, said Eduportal enhances administrative efficiency by
cutting down cost while increasing productive output and was
designed with the entire academic community in mind.

“It provides a seamless interactive learning
environment, creating a smooth and reliable interface between
students and staff and the general public,” Opara said in the
statement.
