Credit Union of Southern California (CU SoCal), a 92,000 member credit union based in Anaheim, has chosen Fiserv’s digital banking platform dubbed Architect to offer a unified banking experience.

Architect, which supports online, mobile, and tablet banking on a single platform, will be integrated into the credit union's core account processing platform.

The vendor said that the platform will support a seamless user experience across multiple channels, with data including transaction history and capabilities such as bill payment being consistent. The solution will be deployed on a hosted basis.

"Because Architect is a hosted solution, CU SoCal will have the benefit of managed hardware, software and disaster recovery services from an industry leading partner. Hosted solutions also offer an opportunity for operational savings while ensuring that Members have access to up-to-date digital banking products and services," Fiserv said.

The credit union already uses the Checkfree RXP electronic bill payment and Popmoney personal payment products from Fiserv, which will now be integrated into the Architect platform.

CU SoCal CIO/CISO David Hanighen said: "Architect met our key requirements and offered strong marketing and support tools as well as an active user community for collaboration and education.
