UK-based The Co-operative Bank has launched a new current account switching offer that allows customers to earn £100 and donate £25 to a charity organisation.

Additionally, Co-operative Bank will provide new customers access to its range of preferential products that are offered for existing customers.

The Co-operative Bank will also allow new customers to donate £25 to any one of seven charity organisations including Action Aid, Amnesty International, the Carers Trust, Help the Hospices, Oxfam, Water Aid and the Woodland Trust.

In order to avail the account switching offer, new customers must open a Co-operative Bank standard current account, current account plus or smile current account, and credit £800 within 31 days.

The offer is also applicable for existing current account customers, who need not credit £800 per month presently, but complete a switch and then credit £800 within 31 days.

The Co-operative Bank commercial director, Steve Britain, said they plan to introduce a range of customer focused initiatives for both existing and new customers and build on their reputation for good customer service.
