Canada’s TD Bank Group has added a chatbot powered by artificial intelligence (AI) technology to its mobile app to facilitate regular transactions as well as provide spending insights to the customers.

Called Clari, the chatbot utilises Kasisto’s conversational artificial intelligence (AI) platform, KAI Consumer Banking.

What does TD Bank chatbot offer?

The chatbot Clari has been introduced as a part of the bank’s strategy to offer clients a customised mobile-enabled experience.

It is designed to offer quick, conversational answers to customer questions such as information on credit card payments and expenses on a particular retailer.

The TD Bank chatbot offers the insights by using AI along with customers’ own TD account and transaction data.

Additionally, it can respond to common customer queries including information on branch locations or exchange rates. It can also connect the customers with a live agent.
