Canadian financial institution Meridian has selected MX’s artificial intelligence (AI)-driven financial guidance tool Pulse.

The move will enable its members to receive personalised insights and advice to refine their financial decisions.

Once the tool is live and available, the services will also be available to all motusbank members across Canada.

motusbank Digital Banking & Enterprise Analytics SVP and COO David Baldarelli said: “By investing in data and the latest personalised AI tools, we’re showing our members that we are serious about improving their financial health in the present and in the future.

“Being able to get up and running so quickly with MX and work together as partners to customise Pulse for our members really sealed the deal.”

Meridian is the third largest credit union in Canada with around 340,000 members. As of 31 March 2019, it had C$21.3bn in assets. The lender offers a full range of financial services and boasts a network of 91 branches in Ontario and commercial banking services in 11 locations.
