CaixaBank’s Madrid flagship store represents more than 4,000 square metres, distributed over four floors and a terrace. The store is staffed by a team of more than 130 bank personnel. The all-in-one store features dedicated space for retail banking customers, premier banking, private banking and professionals.

And it offers two auditoriums and more than 40 offices for private meetings plus a multifunctional area for informal meetings.

The auditorium offers a capacity for 160 spectators and is equipped with the latest audio-visual technologies to stream events. In addition, a second smaller space seats 40 people while an outdoor terrace features panoramic views of Plaza Colón.

CaixaBank ‘all in one’ Madrid centre: serving 27,000 customers

CaixaBank says that a total client portfolio of 27,000 customers will be served from the ‘all in one’ Madrid centre. Technology features include ATMs with facial recognition and wrap-around screens with specially created content. The ATM software recognises and validates 16,000 points on the customer’s face to guarantee totally secure identification.

CaixaBank was the first financial institution in the world to implement this technology.

An advanced self check-in system allows customers to quickly identify and notify managers of their arrival. Before meeting, the CaixaBankNow app gives customers sight of the manager’s agenda to choose the most convenient time slot. CaixaBank has also designed a self-service check-in system with NFC technology. This allows customers to notify their arrival by placing their mobile phone near the device located at the entrance.

CaixaBank all-in-one store: commitment to accessibility

The ‘all in one’ Madrid centre incorporates relevant new features in terms of accessibility. These include the magnetic loop, a technology to reduce interference from ambient noise for people with hearing difficulties. The store also offers braille maps of the different areas and spaces and raised flooring at the branch entrances.

The CaixaBank ‘all in one’ flagship centres complement the bank’s ‘Store’ branches concept. Launched in 2013 this concept features over 550 branches throughout Spain with 53 in the Madrid region.
