BBVA, Spain’s second biggest bank by market
capitalisation, is revelling in the success of its latest online
campaign after its customers spent 20m minutes online with branch
managers.

‘Take advantage of your bank’, an online
campaign designed to act as a meeting point for customers and
managers across the bank’s 3,000-branch network, attracted more
than 8.7m views since its launch on 8 May.

It is the largest but cheapest recorded video
campaign in Spain to date, according to BBVA. 

The branch managers convey a personalised,
unscripted message to potential and existing customers via the
www.aprovechatubanco.es website explaining how best they can
benefit from their relationship with the bank.

Each visit to the site lasted an average of
2.25 minutes, bringing the total number of minutes shared by the
branch managers with customers to 20m, or about 333,000
hours.
