The value marked a decrease of 57.7% over the previous month of $2.91bn and a drop of 15.2% when compared with the last 12-month average of $1.45bn.

North America held a 25.36% share of the global financial services industry venture financing deal value that totalled $4.85bn in June 2021. With a 17.06% share and deals worth $827.18m, the US was the top country in North America’s venture financing deal value across financial services industry.

In terms of venture financing deal activity, North America recorded 42 deals during June 2021, marking a decrease of 12.50% over the previous month and a flat growth over the 12-month average. The US recorded 38 deals during the month.
