The value marked a decrease of 26.9% over the previous month of $842.21m and a rise of 135.5% when compared with the last 12-month average of $261.61m.

Asia-Pacific held an 18.72% share of the global financial services industry cross border venture financing deal value that totalled $3.29bn in June 2021. With a 5.08% share and deals worth $167m, the Philippines was the top country in Asia-Pacific’s cross border venture financing deal value across financial services industry.

In terms of cross border venture financing deal activity, Asia-Pacific recorded 27 deals during June 2021, marking an increase of 92.86% over the previous month and a rise of 145.45% over the 12-month average. India recorded eight deals during the month.
