The value marked a decrease of 9.8% over the previous quarter and a rise of 111.9% when compared with the last four-quarter average of $1.34bn.

North America held a 32.64% share of the global financial services industry cross border venture financing deal value that totalled $8.7bn in Q2 2021. With an 18.05% share and deals worth $1.57bn, the US was the top country in North America’s cross border venture financing deal value across financial services industry.

In terms of deal activity, North America recorded 36 cross border deals during Q2 2021, marking an increase of 9.09% over the previous quarter and a rise of 100.00% over the last four-quarter average. The US recorded 26 deals during the month.
