SBI launches SMS-based customer complaint service

State Bank of India (SBI) is to roll out a SMS-based complaint redressal system across 14 regions of India, following a successful pilot project in Andhra Pradesh. SBI said that the Andhra Pradesh trial resulted in 25,000 complains being received, of which 65% were solved in 48 hours, with another 15% of complaints resolved within five days.

Fidelity National Information Services (FIS) has completed a 10-year agreement with Bradesco and the firm’s card processing joint venture, Fidelity Processadora e Servicos (FPS). In terms of the deal, FPS will process and support Bradesco’s private label, Visa and MasterCard portfolios until 2020. Third-party card processor FPS provides a wide range of card processing services including call center management, back-office support, risk management and collection services.
