Deutsche Bank to sell Indian credit card unit to IndusInd Bank
Deutsche Bank is to pull out of the Indian credit card sector and has agreed a deal to transfer its Indian credit card unit in to IndusInd Bank Under the agreement, IndusInd Bank will get access to almost 200,000 Deutsche Bank cardholders and the entire operating platform of Deutsches cards franchise.

Teradata releases new multi-temperature data warehouse platforms
US-headquartered data warehousing and integrated marketing management vendor, Teradata Corporation,has announced two new Teradata Active Enterprise Data Warehouse (Active EDW) platforms for making smarter decisions at hyper speeds. The platforms are the first to combine solid state drive (SSD) and hard disk drive (HDD) technology with the industrys only intelligent virtual storage solution that automatically migrates data between drive types to achieve optimum performance.
Raiffeisen beats analyst forecasts with net profit of ?1.1bn

La Caixa rolls out contactless ATMs
La Caixa, Spains third-largest banking group and the countrys biggest savings bank, has launched the worlds first ATMs to feature contactless technology from Fujitsu. According to La Caixa, the ATMs will offer the fastest withdrawal system on the market The new generation of ATMs have already been rolled out in Barcelona, Sitges and Palma; additional ATMs will be rolled out in the Balearic Islands and Catalonia.
BMO to drop Marshall & Ilsley brand, rebrand as BMO Harris in US
Bank of Montreal (BMO) is to rebrand its US-based retail branch network under the BMO Harris Bank moniker, when it completes the acquisition of Marshall & Ilsley. In December, BMO announced plans to acquire Marshall & Ilsley for $4.1bn its biggest US acquisition to date – and is aiming to conclude the deal by July.
Ghana’s uniBank goes live with Temenos’ ARC Mobile
Ghana-based uniBank has become the first bank to go live with ARC Mobile. Swiss-based banking software provider, Temenos, launched ARC Mobile last May to help its customers take advantage of the rapidly-growing market for mobile banking services.
