The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 10.87% in November 2021 when compared with October 2021.

IT jobs claimed a 21.06% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2021, and recorded a 1.77% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Citigroup IT hiring in November 2021
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Citigroup, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 68.74% in November 2021, and a 57.48% rise over October 2021, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 13.82% in November 2021, and registered growth of 16.91%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 9.05% in November 2021, a 35.08% rise from October 2021.

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global banking and payments IT hiring activity in November 2021 with a 42.25% share, which marked a 21.13% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 39.19%, registering an 88.36% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 14.53% share and a 62.99% rise over October 2021.
In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 2.98% and a month-on-month flat growth. Middle East & Africa stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 1.05%, registering a 20% rise over the previous month.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s banking and payments industry IT hiring activity with a 32.49% share in November 2021, a 100% growth over October 2021. India featured next with a 29.37% share, up 14.97% over the previous month. China recorded a 6.6% share, an increase of 48.03% compared with October 2021.
Mid Level jobs lead Citigroup IT hiring activity in November 2021
Mid Level jobs held a share of 57.23%, up by 52.57% from October 2021. Junior Level positions with a 24.88% share, a growth of 27.75% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Senior job ads with 12.07% share, up 68.63% over October 2021, while Entry Level postings accounted for 5.82%, recording a month-on-month increase of 34.96%.
