Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) customers have reported technical glitch at bank’s systems, which deprived them from withdrawing cash and making any transactions.

The services that were affected include ATMs, internet banking and payments platforms, phone banking and electronic funds transfer at point of sale (EFTPOS).

In addition to these, CBA’s retail share trading platform, Commsec, also went offline, but was restored soon.

CBA spokeswoman said they are currently experiencing system problems.

"We have identified the issue and we are working to restore services as a priority. We apologise for any inconvenience caused," spokeswoman added.

The bank, however, did not disclose the cause of the issue.
