Etisalat Nigeria, a subsidiary of Etisalat Group, has expanded its mobile banking offerings to customers with the launch of a new smartphone app, Easywallet, which enables customers to easily and quickly access their mobile money services.

Etisalat, in collaboration with GTBank, Zenith Bank, Stanbic Bank, First Bank Nigeria and Paga Payment Network, has been offering mobile banking services to Nigerian customers since 2012.

The Easywallet app, which is flexible and convenient with new features, adds new dimensions to the existing mobile banking service.

Etisalat Group chief digital services officer, Khalifa Al Forah, said Etisalat is at the forefront of technology innovation, bringing market relevant and transformational services to its customers across the group markets.

"By enabling people to use their mobile phones to access advanced banking services, we not only hope to deliver lasting benefits to our customers , but also contribute to the socio-economic development of the economies of Nigeria and other countries that we operate in," Al Forah added.

The app can currently be downloaded for free from Android Play store, and will soon be available on Apple App store and Windows Marketplace.
