India’s ICICI Bank has enhanced its customers’ mobile banking experience by introducing four new mobile banking applications for branch transactions and video banking for NRIs.
The newly launched apps are: ICICI Store, Insta Banking, Video Banking and mPassbook.
ICICI Store gives users an aggregate view of all mobile banking applications, launched by the ICICI Group. It will facilitate easy selection, download and upgrade of the ICICI Group apps.
The Insta Banking app allows users to perform a transaction any time, upto seven days prior to visiting the branch and minimizes time spent in filling up paper work.
The bank said that users will also be able to initiate a range of transactions on the Insta Banking app including cash deposit, cash withdrawal, request for demand draft and updating personal information.
The Video Banking app allows the bank’s wealth and NRI customers to perform a video chat with the customer care executives anytime and will also resolve their banking queries and provide information related to products and offers.

By GlobalDataWhile, the mPassbook app will enable customers to view their recent savings, credit card and PPF account transactions on their mobile phone.
ICICI Bank MD & CEO Chanda Kochhar said, "With these new mobile banking applications, we will offer our customers a unique and unparalleled experience in their interactions with the Bank. The new apps will be available for download on Google Play and Apple app store.
