Financial settlement solutions provider Ripple has opened its new European headquarters in London.
The new office adds to the company’s existing footprint in San Francisco, New York, and Sydney. The new office will be headed by newly appointed managing director of Europe, Daniel Aranda.
Aranda will be responsible for engaging with banks, regulators and central banks to support and develop Ripple’s adoption, and build a local sales and implementation team. He will be supported by Patricia Pittomvils as the sales director of Europe.
Ripple CEO and co-founder Chris Larsen said: "We’re excited to continue growing our global presence by establishing roots in London, one of the most important financial centres of the world.
"After establishing our APAC subsidiary last year, we’ve seen tremendous traction in Asia, leading to the recent creation of SBI Ripple Asia, and we’re looking forward to similarly rapid growth in Europe starting with this new office."
