Mashreq Bank has launched mobile banking app Snapp throughout Qatar.

Built on the Vipera Platform, customers can use their online banking information to access the service

Snapp allows users to view account balances, pay bills, transfer money, request cheque books and statements, and activate or block debit and credit cards.

The app also features an ATM and branch locator feature.

Niranjan Mendonca, head of retail banking and acting country head of Mashreq Bank said: "We have seen a tremendous growth in mobile penetration in Qatar and across the region and with this comes a massive surge in smartphone ownership."

"As a result, Mashreq Bank has fully embraced technology as a means towards providing customers with convenient & accessible banking services regardless of whether they are at home, in the office, on the road, or on vacation," he concluded.
