Jordan Commercial Bank has replaced the need
for personal identification cards in banking transactions with the
deployment of the Iris Recognition System.

The bank said that it launched the Iris
Recognition System in selected branches to make banking more secure
and use the latest banking technology.

The system will identify new and existing
customers once to save their details.

From then on, customers will be scanned by the
system and their personal details will appear on the screen of the
financial advisor.

As every person’s iris has an individual
eye print, the Iris Recognition System is considered to be the most
secure banking technology.

The chief executive and general manager of
Jordan Commercial Bank, Jawad Hadid, said that the system will help
the bank eliminate counterfeiting, hacking as well as save
customers time in all banking transactions.
