Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) has launched MyWealth, an online platform that enables customers to manage their financial portfolio.

According to CBA, MyWealth aims to allow customers to invest in shares, exchange traded funds and other financial assets.

The investment platform contains stock market watchlists, a hosted social community and financial news.

Lisa Frazier, chief innovation officer in equities and margin lending at CBA, said market volatility had increased awareness of investment decisions and as a result investors were now more connected with where they put their money.

She added: "MyWealth has been designed to simplify the investment process and our aim is to empower customers who want to be in the driving seat of their own investment decisions."
