Turkish Vak?fbank has selected Kobil’s Cep ?mza, an m.identity-based mobile banking app that enables online banking users to save time by providing them with a single password instead of a long and multi-staged SMS validation.
The new technology makes SMS validation redundant in online banking proceedings by integrating the power of iOS and Android operating systems with WEB’s infrastructure.
Developed to improve overall user experience, the Cep ?mza sends an interactive message to the user’s mobile phone during cash outflows, online banking page accesses and internet banking activities carried out at personal computers.Customer can then complete the banking transaction from computer by clicking "confirm" button in the message.
Cep ?mza, which has been built using Kobil’s m.identity Application Security Technology (AST), will allow Vak?fbank to meet customer demands more interactively and finalize updates faster.
Conversely, the customers will be able to complete their mobile and online banking proceedings with only one click, without the need to visit multi-staged password screen.
In addition, the new system will also prevent customers from becoming the targets of pirating, theft and other types of online manipulations.
