Indian private sector lender Yes Bank has struck a strategic partnership with Taisys Technologies to boost its mobile banking business.
Taisys India said that it will work with Yes Bank on a platform to issue ultra-thin mobile banking SIM, which will enable the bank’s mobile banking customers to benefit from secured fund transfer, wallet transfer, merchant payment, VAS payments across smartphones and feature phones.
Taisys m-Banking platform will be integrated with Yes Bank Money, which is a domestic remittance service to serve remittance needs of migrants, unbanked and the under-banked in India.
Yes Bank president and head digital payments & mobility Anand Bajaj commented: "We are pleased to partner with Taisys for this innovative solution which will augur positive impact into India. At a time when Apps and SIM are at a cusp and pondering at challenges of connectivity and security in the hands of masses, we believe Taisys solution which is Telco and Handset agnostic, will make a huge difference."
Additionally, Taisys will also join forces with NPCI to build a common platform, which will offer mobile banking to all other banks.
