Wells Fargo Bank is set to roll out a new mobile wallet later this summer enabling its users to make NFC payments directly from the Wells Fargo mobile app.

Dubbed Wells Fargo Wallet, the mobile wallet will be integrated into the existing Wells Fargo mobile app for Android users, making for a comprehensive, all-inclusive mobile banking and payment experience.

Wells Fargo Wallet will add eligible Wells Fargo debit and credit cards so that customers can easily make purchases by tapping an Android phone at NFC-enabled payment terminals across the world.

Additionally, the new wallet will allow customers to view account balance information within the app before and immediately after a purchase.

Customers can also use Wells Fargo Wallet to complete ATM transactions without using a physical debit or ATM card.
