US-based multinational bank Wells Fargo has unveiled return to office plans as Covid-19 vaccinations ramp up in the country.

According to a Reuters report, the bank aims to start bringing workers back to its offices in September.

The operations are expected to return to normalcy after 6 September, the US Labor Day.

However, Wells Fargo is still considering whether it will allow certain units to return to offices before the Labor Day.

Wells Fargo, which has one of the largest workforces, currently have around 200,000 employees working from home. An additional 60,000 continues to work from the offices.

Notably, the US is one of the worst affected countries by the Covid-19 pandemic.
