United Credit Union of Mexico has selected Fiserv’s CUnify, an account processing platform, to improve overall performance and deliver a better financial services experience to its 20,000 members.
Apart from installing CUnify, the credit union has plans to add CheckFree RXP from Fiserv and the Popmoney person-to-person (P2P) payment service.

United selected CUnify through a competitive selection process, for its reliability and modern relational database foundation to modernise workflows, enhance overall performance and deliver seamless payments integration.
Fiserv claims that the functionality of CUnify will allow United to modernise back office capabilities, moving from manual processes to a real-time automated system.
The technology will offer relational reporting data, which will allow a comprehensive view of the member to support their financial services needs and also give employees more time to spend on personal service.
United Credit Union compliance and IT vice president Joanne Nelson said: "To begin our selection process for a technology provider, we first asked ‘what do our members want and need and will our technology support our position to provide it."
