The new software from SunGard is part of its IntelliMatch Operational Control solution suite, and is designed to help financial institutions reduce operational costs.

A report carried out by analyst firm, CEB TowerGroup, has found that by 2016, investment in reconciliation applications is expected to reach nearly $290m.
