Texas Bay Area Credit Union (TBACU), which has around 33,000 members and assets worth $305m, has selected an integrated suite of payment solutions developed by Fiserv to improve its operational efficiency, consolidate vendors and improve its members’ financial experience.
The solutions selected by TBACU include debit processing, full-service credit processing, Accel debit payments network, UChoose Rewards and Risk Office, and DNAweb for commercial online banking.
TBACU selected Fiserv solution to grow its credit and debit card business. It will integrate its card portfolio with Fiserv’s DNA account processing platform, which it has been using since 2006.
TBACU chief information officer, Dennis Y’Barbo, said they chose Fiserv because they wanted to increase their operational efficiency and provide their members a more robust debit and credit offering.
"The integration with DNA was an important part of our decision and we’re excited to start realising the benefits of these products working together," Y’Barbo added.
Fiserv financial institutions group president, Kevin Gregoire, said by leveraging innovation and focusing on their collective strengths, they strive to help their credit union clients reduce operational costs, protect and grow their business, and mitigate and manage fraud, risk and compliance issues.
