South Carolina-based Sharonview Federal Credit Union has chosen Symitar’s Episys as its in-house core processing platform, as part of a plan to boost operational efficiency.
Symitar, a division of Jack Henry & Associates, offers integrated computer systems for credit unions of all sizes.
Sharonview Federal Credit Union CEO, Bill Partin, said: "Our existing core operating system is being sunsetted, so we took this opportunity to find a more holistic solution to help us better serve our more than 66,000 members.
"Our partnership with Symitar and its sophisticated product suite will position Sharonview to more effectively and efficiently provide our growing membership with the right products and to deliver a higher level of service quality and utilisation, regardless of which channels our members use to engage us."
Apart from the core processing technology, the credit union has also selected other complementary solutions developed by Symitar such as Synapsys Member Relationship Management and Advanced Reporting for Credit Unions.
Following completion of implementation, Sharonview Federal Credit Union believes that it will be able to automate sales, marketing, and member service; and support enterprise-wide data warehousing and reporting needs with ARCU.
