Scotiabank has launched Let the Saving Begin, a
nationwide savings promotion, with the aim of encouraging Canadians
to save and invest.

To promote the campaign, Scotiabank has signed
up Canadian TV personality Valerie Pringle as a brand
ambassador.

Ms. Pringle will travel across the country to
speak with Canadians about the challenges they face when trying to
put money aside.

“Canadians want to save more, but with so many
demands on their wallets they may not always feel it’s possible,”
she said.

“Over the next couple of months, I’ll be
working with Scotiabank to listen to Canadians about the challenges
they face and successes they have had when it comes to saving.”

The promotion debuted on 13 July with
Scotiabank employees taking to the streets of Toronto to hand out
gift cards towards items such as coffee, snacks, petrol and
groceries.
