Santander Bank has chosen RDM as its new desktop and mobile Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) solution provider for its corporate and commercial banking clients.

The RDC solution from RDM is powered by its cloud-based Image & Transaction Management System (ITMS). This includes various risk-mitigation tools such as reports, deposit limits, advanced authentication, IP-addressability and geolocation services.

RDM said that the RDC solution suite is easy to implement and support, as well as requires minimal user training.

The intuitive application of ITMS has been designed to help users scan checks and other transaction documents to capture the complete transaction for further processing, the technology provider added.

RDM president and CEO Randy Fowlie said: "We are excited to provide RDM’s Remote Deposit Capture solution for desktop and mobile to Santander. This is a key competitive replacement win for RDM and shows the strength and robust functionality of our solutions as we expand our market share and continue to add customers to our profile."

Santander operates with over 670 branches throughout the Northeastern US, managing over $90bn in assets.
