Global fintech solutions provider Salt Edge has secured Account Information Service Provider (AISP) licence from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

The licence will enable it to provide its clients access to financial data in compliance with PSD2/Open Banking.

Now, all lenders will be able to utilise on the Salt Edge AISP licence through the use of Open Banking channels and data.

The scope of the licence also authorises its personal financial management application Fentury.

This app is developed to offer the users complete control over their personal finances through a financial tool set.

It also enables the customers manage all accounts from a single place, set saving goals and receive insightful advice among other features.

Salt Edge head of infrastructure and security department Dmitry Tsap said: “We went through a very strict evaluation process with the FCA including but not limited to the assessment of our security frameworks and data protection measures.

“It was important that we had been taking PSD2 compliance very seriously during this intense evaluation. Being approved by the FCA is proof of quality and recognition of our efforts in this direction.”

Salt Edge focuses on providing fintech solutions to banks, finapps, and other financial institutions.

Its services include financial data aggregation API, open banking and PSD2 solutions, white label retail banking and data enrichment.
