Colombia on-demand delivery startup Rappi has joined forces with fintech firm Arcus to deliver digital banking services to customers during the Covid-19 crisis.
Rappi will leverage Arcus’ fintech platform to launch its new payment app RappiPay.
The companies claim that RappiPay is more than just a digital wallet.
Powered by Arcus’ Payment Services solution, RappiPay will allow consumers to automate recurring bills payment, receive instant alerts, schedule payments, among other benefits.
The app will also allow users to make payments by credit card, debit or cash.
Rappi general manager Alejandro Solis said: “With RappiPay, people can manage all of their financial needs from the safety of their homes.
