Qatar National Bank (QNB) has forayed into Vietnamese market by opening its first representative office in Ho Chi Minh City, Gulf Times has reported.
The opening of the maiden QNB office in Vietnam comes after the bank received a license from the State Bank of Vietnam in September last year.

The representative office will function as a liaison body to conduct market research and promotion activities for investment projects of QNB in Vietnam.
Gulf Times quoted Qatar’s new ambassador to Vietnam Abdullah Sultan al-Hamar saying that the new representative office would be followed by another in the capital Hanoi in the future.
