Professional Bank Services, a financial institution consulting and education firm in the US, has introduced a new online financial compliance training programme, called bankED.

The programme is developed by bankers, compliance trainers, former attorneys and federal examiners and includes training options on various financial industry compliance issues.

The training topics include Anti-Money Laundering and Bank Secrecy Act, Consumer Protection, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Examination Procedures.

Professional Bank Services managing director Martin Mitchell said: “We conducted a ‘soft launch’ of bankED about six months ago, and the user feedback thus far has been extremely positive.

“Users know they are required to keep up with their training and they appreciate being able to accomplish this on their own schedule and at their own pace.”

The training programme can be used by the financial companies to up skill a specific group of employees as well as train new hires with the company objectives.

The bankED programme can be accessed from any electronic device. Once signed in, the users will receive a list of course modules with supporting instructional videos.

Professional Bank Services focuses on providing advisory services in financial management, investment banking, strategic consulting, regulatory and compliance.

It is also engaged in providing training partnering with banking associations and agencies. It clientele include small community banks to international institutions.
