The service enables Bank
Millennium customers to check their account balance and transaction
history; make internal and domestic transfers, repay credit card
debt and top-up mobile phone balances.

Bank Millennium said
that increased channel investment would help it achieve an increase
in retail banking customer numbers in 2011 from 1.1m to
1.3m.

In a separate
announcement, Bank Millennium said it had agreed a deal with mobile
telecoms firm Orange, offering promotional rates for Millennium
customers to acquire an iPhone.
