PNC Bank, a member of the PNC Financial Services, has unveiled its new iPad app, PINACLE Mobile App, which provides customers with access to their online accounts.

The app enables customers to view balances and transaction details, securely review and approve payments, unlock/reset user passwords, and personalise their mobile banking experience by viewing event notifications, alerts and messages.

Additionally, it has strong authentication and security features such as multi-factor authentication, token passcodes, account number masking, and a shorter idle timeout. It ensures security by not storing any personal information on the device or in the app.

PNC Bank treasury management head and executive vice president, James Graham, said tablet use has grown tremendously across their customer base.

"We worked with our clients to design an iPad app that offers them convenience as well as a secure, outstanding user experience. User administration, along with the portability of our new app, makes it a convenient tool for the decision-maker on the go," Graham added.

The PINACLE Mobile App for iPad can be downloaded for free at the Apple Store.
