Payment Alliance International (PAI) has acquired Arizona-based ATM operator Eclipse Cash Systems to bolster its automated teller network.

The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The transaction provides PAI with more than 15,000 ATM terminals. It also adds four financial institution partnerships to its existing nationwide network comprising more than 75,000 ATMs.

Additionally, Eclipse strong mobile events portfolio and direct ATM placement business complement PAI’s business portfolio.

As a part of the agreement, the entire Eclipse team will migrate to PAI payroll. However, they will continue to work from the Chandler office in Arizona.

PAI CEO David Dove said: “Eclipse brings an important set of business expansion opportunities to PAI.”

Eclipse Cash Systems Chris Biedrzycki said: “The opportunity to join PAI is important to all of us at Eclipse.

“PAI provides scale, as well as industry-leading portfolio management tools for our market partners.

“Leveraging PAI’s infrastructure and ATM expertise will benefit both our customers and staff through continued growth.”

Payment Alliance International is one of the largest privately held providers of ATMs in the US.

It provides ATM portfolio management tools and services including maintenance, transaction processing, bank sponsorship and cash in transit (CIT) servicing.

In June this year, PAI acquired Massachusetts-based ATM operator ISA-Ecash. The acquisition added more than 40 financial institution customers with 960 ATMs to its network.
