OpenEye, a US-based digital media consultancy, has completed the installation of 1,500 digital displays at over 700 branches of Santander in the US, including 150 in New Jersey.

The installations are part of Santander’s multi-million dollar digital merchandising programme, which allows banks to provide its customers with dynamic marketing information such as real-time rate information, offers and about core product information.

OpenEye managing partner, Bryan Meszaros, was quoted by NJBIZ as saying that they were involved in every phase of the digital signage installation, including conceptual design and content creation.

"It is more than just a promotional vehicle, it is a way for them to be more targeted to their customers and also be more relevant, by delivering real time information," Meszaros added.

OpenEye is now working to expand the programme for Santander’s UK entity.
