Around 25% of Brits would be ready to move to new bank if experienced with technology glitches, according to a survey by Fujitsu.
The survey was carried out just before customers of RBS, NatWest and Ulster Bank were unable to use their cards at ATMs, in-store or online on Cyber Monday.
Of the 3,000 respondents surveyed, 70% were ready to switch bank if they had lost their personal data, while 50% would move if they experienced poor customer service, reported Finextra.
The survey also found that around 36% of people trusted financial services firms with their data, a fall of 15% in the last ten years.
Less than a quarter of respondents felt that banks and insurance firms use their data to improve services.
Almost 34% of respondents were satisfied with banks for quickly accessing their account information whey they call, however 38% felt they could have received more personalised offers and services.
