ATM manufacturer NCR Corporation has launched select edition small-footprint ATMs in India to enable financial institutions to expand their reach in remote and underserved locations.
The new ATMs, SelfServ Select Edition (SE) Cash and SE Recycle, are powered by the company’s intuitive CxBanking software.
Apart from enabling financial institutions to easily connect consumers with cash, the newly introduced ATMs will also improve customers experience by offering greater levels of security, improved uptime and ease-of-use.
These ATMS also boasts of biometric recognition feature to ensure safe consumer authentication in rural areas of India facing literacy challenges.
NCR Financial Services vice president & general manager Jose Resendiz said: “Financial inclusion is emerging as a new paradigm of economic growth that plays a major role in driving away poverty from the country by reaching and serving the underserved.
“The new ATMs will allow financial institutions to modernise their ATM network, improve customer experience and extend their reach to serve areas where cash demand is strong.”
