National Bank has inked a deal with the Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) to roll out the National Bank CAA Rewards MasterCard credit card further to the acquisition of Bridgewater Bank’s CAA credit cards portfolio.
The new Rewards MasterCard credit card will offer a host of benefits to CAA members such as CAA Dollars, and purchase insurance to protect against damage or theft of items purchased with their card.
The fee-free card will be available to CAA members in seven regional CAA clubs with a CAA credit card in the coming few months.
CAA chief strategy officer Jeff Walker said: "The goal of the CAA Rewards Program is to provide CAA Members with best-in-class offers and savings from brands that they know and love.
"With the new CAA Rewards Mastercard, CAA Members can get even more value from their membership, earning CAA Dollars on all of their purchases. Members can redeem their CAA Dollars on a wide array of CAA products and services, including their next vacation, retail products like movies and attraction tickets, as well as their CAA membership."
