National Australia Bank (NAB) has unveiled plans to launch a new digital advice platform that offers its customers personalised financial advice through its online internet banking platform.
Dubbed as NAB Prosper, the platform will initially be launched to 40,000 customers in October 2015. It has been designed to support 80% of Australians who do not have a financial advisor.
The bank said that the service will ask customers specific questions about their current financial situation and future goals and provide them with a tailored assessment.
The new offering aims to initially deliver personalised advice on superannuation and insurance with plans to expand into advice on debt, cashflow, investments and estate planning soon.
NAB general manager digital and direct services Anne Bennett said: "What this shows is a desire for our customers to be online.
