Moneycorp, a UK-based company that offers foreign exchange services, has selected NCR and its partner ATMRC to deploy NCR SelfServ 28 automated teller machines (ATMs) in the UK.

The new SelfServ ATMs are weatherised and freestanding, and can be deployed indoor or outdoor.

The ATMs also come with wired and wireless connectivity. A wired SelfServ 28 ATM requires only a power outlet to operate and can work in temperatures between -50 to +35 degrees centigrade.

It is also environmentally friendly and reduces the carbon footprint of offsite buildings.

Moneycorp automated cash head, Alan Chambers, said as opportunities to provide customers with on-street cash withdrawal services increase they had to quickly evolve the solutions they deploy in city-centres.

"NCR and ATMRC have been our partners of choice since Moneycorp ATMs were launched. Their ability to quickly design, test and launch our new generation of on-street ATM solutions is testament to the great relationship.
