Money Dashboard, a UK-based smart account aggregation service, is to make its free service available on mobile devices, allowing consumers to check all their accounts at one place.
The move by Money Dashboard is the result of increasing consumer demand. The mobile version of Money Dashboard is specifically designed for users to easily access their personal financial information while on the move.
The current launch is the first phase of Money Dashboard’s wider mobile strategy that will see the launch of Android and iOS apps, and other tools such as smart account management.
Money Dashboard founder and CEO, Gavin Littlejohn, said consumers are increasingly looking to mobile for their financial needs, both as a companion to the desktop version and as the main channel.
"They want to be able to access their financial data whenever and wherever they are. We anticipate with this mobile optimised site that mobile traffic will increase to 60% of all logins over the next 12 months.
"The service we offer is part of a new wave of financial services that have the potential to disrupt and enhance the banking services in the same way Amazon and Google have disrupted their markets. Often consumers just want to check their finances on the way home or while out shopping. This is the perfect tool for them," Littlejohn added.
