Omni-channel mobile banking provider Mobilearth has added Belize-based Heritage International Bank to its network, which will allow the bank to use Mobilearth’s mobile and online banking solutions.

The partnership with Heritage International marks Mobilearth’s second alliance with a financial institution based in Central America.

Heritage International is a sister company of Heritage Bank, a group that Mobilearth has been serving for over eight years.

Heritage International intends to use Mobilearth’s technology to increase its transaction volume and capacity along with providing a better mobile banking solution.

Heritage International’s director of operations and information technology William Ysaguirre Jr. said that its previous technology was not efficient as it required a lot of manual work for employees.

Ysaguirre Jr. added: "It comes down to having a single solution from a centralized site. Instead of going to multiple areas for online banking services, now you just go to one. It’s much more efficient for everybody."
