Myanmar-based Kanbawza Bank (KBZ Bank) has expanded its international footprint by opening a representative office in Singapore.
The bank, which opened a representative office in Thailand recently, is the first Myanmar lender to open an office in Singapore.

The bank in its press statement said the new office will serve as gateway for Singapore and international business looking for advice or expertise on succeeding in Myanmar.
"It will serve as a source of information for regulatory requirements in both markets, as well as offering market research and feasibility studies on investment and business opportunity and private sector liaison services," the statement added.
