IndusInd Bank, a private sector bank in India, has chosen Vidyo, a provider of visual communications technologies, for Video Branch, a mobile and desktop-based banking service being deployed across the country.

Video Branch will enable face-to-face video conversation with branch manager, relationship manager or with centralized Video Branch executive.

The service will be facilitated by Vidyo’s VidyoWorks solution which will provide connectivity from any location, on any device over any network and will be available on Android and iOS platforms.

IndusInd Bank managing director and CEO Romesh Sobti said: "Our Video Branch ‘face-to-face’ online banking customer service, powered by Vidyo, is the next frontier of banking and brings our branch managers and centralized banking services closer to our customers with highly personal interaction."

Video Branch service will offer a wide range of information catering to all banking services currently offered through IndusInd phone banking besides allowing customers to conduct financial transactions including opening a fixed deposit or recurring deposit, transferring funds through NEFT RTGS.
