Ohio-based Huntington National Bank is, reportedly, planning to roll out a new mobile cheque deposit app in the first quarter of 2014.
The new mobile cheque deposit app will allow customers to deposit cheques using their smartphones.
Compatible with Android and iPhone platforms, the new app will feature a single sign-on feature that will allow users to access multiple functions through a single log-in.
The Huntington National Bank CEO Steve Steinour was quoted by bizjournals.com as saying that mobile cheque deposit and several other additions will arrive in 2014 and bring the bank up to speed.
Huntington will join other lenders such as Chase, Bank of America, KeyBank, Fifth Third Bank and PNC Bank, which are also offering similar services.
